Coach Isiah Thomas led the New York Knicks to a 1-2 mark this week, raising the Knicks record to 3-9 and keeping them only eight games out of first after a full 12-game slate. Thomas is clearly not letting the off-court controversy of his sexual assault trial affect his inability to coach. Sucking this bad this long at any job – let no one underestimate the power of shmoozing. How long can you ride the ’89 playoff run? Apparently, at least 18 years.
