REGGIE WHITE ENTERS HALL
The late Reggie White led a class that included Troy Aikman and Warren Moon into the Football Hall of Fame this weekend.Jeff sez: If I played fantasy football I’d STILL take Reggie this year - he’ll wind up with 4 1/2 sacks somehow. Not the greatest preacher in the world – in front of the Wisconsin legislature he once said blacks could dance well, whites did a good job “building businesses and things of that nature” and Asians could “turn a TV into a watch.” But hell, he meant well, and he ain’t up for the Preacher Hall of Fame, dammit!

Tiger Woods won the Buick Open this past weekend to become the youngest player to get to 50 tour wins.Jeff sez: He’d beat me with a mashie and a niblick and a sewer pipe for a putter. Kind of a relief to see him stiffen up like a third-grader for those Buick commercials. He makes Steinbrenner look like Brando.

Terrell Owens pulled a hamstring in practice last week and will miss the Dallas Cowboys’ pre-season opener against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend.Jeff sez: We should all miss that game, quite frankly.
