A smallmouth bass who claims to represent over 300 bass
of various stripes and mouth sizes has threatened ESPN
with a work stopage that would bring the Bassmasters
fishing tourney to its knees, unless ESPN shares a portion
of its broadcast revenues with the fish. "When it was
just Bubba looking to feed his nine kids that's one thing,"
said Mack, the six pound bass spokesman at a press conference
in Stink Sludge, "but these fisherman have more commercial
endorsements than NASCAR drivers plastered
on their asses. It's gettin' to be re-g@d-damn-diculous."
Mack said unless more waterways are put off limits to game
fishing, "We'll just stop eatin' your worms, suckers.
Wait 'til we float up dead in a creek for two days. Slap
us on the grill then a--holes!"
