Boston, MA - Boston Red Sox legal counsel Tim O'Hanrahanratty unveiled plans Monday afternoon to assassinate New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. The plan would involve a blockade of Steinbrenner's limousine and then the use of a dense pillow pressed into Steinbrenner's face, eventually cutting off his oxygen and killing him. The pillow has been painstakingly embroidered with Babe Ruth's original Boston-to-New York trade agreement so that that it is the last thing Steinbrenner sees as he slips into death. The plan has the support of 24 other major league owners but must be approved by commissioner Bud Selig before the March 20th deadline for baseball assassination plots expires. Steinbrenner said he was "flattered" and that, "knowing Red Sox fans, they'll screw it up."
