"Whoever's got the gold
mask has to clean up." |
Boston, MA - A team
of doctors at Yankees Suck Medical Center in Cambridge,
Massachusetts completed a delicate, 18-hour operation to
split in half the ball that was caught for the last out
in Boston's historic 2004 World
Series win by now-former Sox first baseman Doug
Mientkiewicz (pronounced "Dug"). The half-spheres
will join the World Series Trophy on its victory tour. In
preparation for the nationwide tour, the trophy also underwent
collagen injections and breast implants.
