Chicago, IL - Lifelong Chicago Bears
fan Emil Krynziewskiwicz, who amazingly enough is only half-Polish,
accidentally lit his own head on fire Sunday when inadvertently
grabbed the wrong hat off a tree stand at his neighborhood
bar and donned it. Doctors at Shots Fired Medical Center on
the city's west side said the 63-year-old Krynziewskiwicz's
head had become so accustomed to his ever-present Bears cap
that the second the cap of the hated arch-rival Green
Bay Packers touched his head, his skull burst into
flame in an attempt to reject the cap. Krynziewskiwicz suffered
first-degree burns to 40% of his skull, but his wife Irene
said she thought his hair "took a turn for the better."
